One month from today, we're done with fundraising for almost FOUR months -- no more fundraising until next spring.

That's why tonight's deadline is a big one: We have an ambitious goal of $25,000 by midnight, and we're $7,389 short. A grassroots donation matters so much right now, because the clock's ticking: Will you donate $1 or more before our midnight deadline?

Look, the intent behind this fundraising freeze is a good thing -- but it also puts my campaign at an honest-to-goodness disadvantage that we need to be prepared for. Just last week, we saw two conservative statewide initiatives pass at the ballot. And if there is anything I know about politics it is this -- you must not take any election for granted.

We've made such progress here, but there's still so much to do. We're setting the bar high for the rest of the country, from public options on our health care to historic progress in the fight against climate change. It all starts here.

That's why I know Republicans are relishing this chance to fundraise to unseat me while we can't lift a finger. It's a real thing -- our opponents will raise hundreds of thousands of dollars while we can't raise a single cent.
