Florida Lawmakers Latest To Approve 15-Week Abortion Ban—One Day After Arizona And West Virginia

"The abortion restrictions are the same as the Mississippi bill the Supreme Court is now weighing—which the conservative-leaning court is expected to uphold." - Forbes

The attacks on reproductive rights keep coming, John.

Last week, Republicans in Arizona, Florida, and West Virginia's legislatures voted for restrictive 15-week abortion bills. These bills not only limit a person's access to safe and legal abortion, but they don't include any exceptions, and doctors could face jail time or lose their licenses for performing abortions after 15 weeks.

With the Supreme Court making a decision this year on a case that could decide the fate of Roe v. Wade, Republicans in states across the country are passing restrictive abortion bans in the hopes that Roe is overturned. Conservatives hold a 6-3 majority on the Court, so Republicans might get their way.

We can't let Republicans restrict access to reproductive care. Will you add your name to stand with Kim in the fight to defend Roe v. Wade?

John – reproductive rights are hanging by a thread. If the Supreme Court overturns Roe v. Wade, access to safe and legal abortion would be banned or limited in at least 22 states overnights. We can't let that happen.

As the only pro-choice woman doctor in Congress, Kim is fighting back against any attacks on our reproductive care. She helped pass the Women's Health Protection Act last year to block states from enacting medically unjustified barriers to accessing abortion care and she's endorsed by Planned Parenthood Action Fund. But she needs to know you have her back in this important fight.

Add your name to join Kim in the fight to protect our reproductive health care rights.

Thanks,

Team Schrier

To hold the House majority, we must re-elect Rep. Kim Schrier in WA-08. Will you chip in to protect Kim's seat and the Democratic House majority in 2022?
