** Health Justice
------------------------------------------------------------
This month, our Health Justice newsletter brings you strategies for holistic repair—economic, infrastructural, spiritual, therapeutic—designed to deliver health to individuals and communities, and to help us reclaim our world. First, we look at how reparations can address the whole person, including physical and mental health shaped by intergenerational oppression. Continuing to unfurl the pages of our Winter 2022 magazine, we feature three new pieces. One explores how changes to community infrastructure affects health and why, to address these issues, we must mend both architectural and social injuries. We then dive into a story about reclaiming our spiritual connection to one another, our wellbeing, and the Earth. Finally, we explore what it means to understand self-care not as an individualized fix but as a movement that can heal individuals and communities.
