📋 Fight for $15 Canvass in Decatur 📋

Join us for a #Fightfor15 canvass in Decatur! We'll meet at Midway Park (3165 Midway Rd, Decatur, GA 30032) Saturday March 5 at 10:00 AM to knock doors, talk to neighbors about why working Georgians deserve a $15 minimum wage, and share resources on workplace organizing.
Please wear a mask and bring a friend. Make sure to download the free MiniVAN canvassing app ahead of time. Water and snacks will be provided! No experience needed.

🎓 Canvassing 101 Workshop 🎓

Join the Political Education and Electoral Committees Monday Feb. 21st at 6:00 PM for a virtual training on how to canvass! Having political conversations with friends and strangers alike is a core skill that any good organizer should have! At this interactive training, attendees will learn not only how to follow a canvassing rap, but how to use essential tools like VAN, and key tips for planning and setting up effective canvasses!

All over the country, Starbucks stores are unionizing! On Sunday Feb. 27th at 10:00 AM, Atlanta DSA will be flyering the neighborhood around the Howell Mill Starbucks location (1801 Howell Mill Rd NW, Atlanta, GA 30318) to help rally community support for the unionizing workers! We'll meet in the Starbucks parking lot. Snacks will be provided. Make sure to wear a mask!

Stop by either the Starbucks in The District at Howell Mill (1801 Howell Mill Rd. Atlanta, GA 30318) OR the Starbucks at Peachtree Dunwoody & Hammond (6001 Peachtree Dunwoody Road Atlanta, GA 30328) to let them know the community backs the union!
