Our nation’s founding–and our core values–are premised on a simple idea: e pluribus unum, out of many, one.
Today, we celebrate two Presidents, George Washington and Abraham Lincoln, and our nation’s ideals of advancing freedom and opportunity for all. Those are the values that brought my grandparents and mom to the United States after surviving the Holocaust. They are deeply personal to my family and to me–and drive me to serve the public.
As Colorado Attorney General, I am committed to fighting for freedom and opportunity for all. On this Presidents’ Day, it is an opportune time to reflect on those values and what it means to be an American. To me, it means that we all do our part to continue to strive for “a more perfect union,” a concept I reflect on in this blog post.
I appreciate your support as I continue to work to serve all Coloradans and advance the principles of freedom and opportunity for all. Please consider whatever donation you can make at this time.
