The 2022 Virginia General Assembly session has reached crossover. Going forward, with the exception of the budget, only bills that have passed in their chamber of origin may be considered – so a House bill that has not yet passed the House of Delegates or a Senate bill that has not yet passed the Senate has failed for the year. The Chamber’s policy priorities remain in a mostly positive position. You can find a detailed summary of the Chamber’s priority legislation and activity through crossover at the link below.

Steven Marku, Government Affairs Director, Arlington Chamber of Commerce
This year’s General Assembly Session started my first week on the job, and I’ve already been down to Richmond to testify in support of our policy agenda. I’ve also given my first testimony before the Arlington County Board, successfully calling for the adoption of the Pentagon City Sector Plan. I’m excited to work with all of you to move things forward for Arlington’s business community.
