If you read our emails, you know what we’re up against: a national political establishment that doesn’t have much use for a grassroots movement like ours. We’ll win this race if and only if we have enough money to stop Washington from buying this seat.
Time is running out: we have less than 48 hours left to hit our mid-month fundraising goal. We still need to raise another $2,232.13.
I wish I could tell you that bold ideas alone could carry the day, but they can’t reach voters on their own. It takes money to rent an office, pay a staff, operate computers and telephones—all the moving parts that drive our campaign.
Here’s the challenge: we’re nearly halfway through the month, and our finance team is reporting a shortfall. Meeting our budget isn’t optional; it’s the only way to keep going.
