Dear John --
Today, our Leader Christopher
Luxon delivered a speech outlining his thoughts on COVID, the ongoing
protests, government mandates, and how we can begin to heal the
division that has opened in New Zealand.
If you missed
Christopher's speech, you could watch it by clicking the image below
or read a copy here.
Christopher talked about the protest at Parliament being
illustrative of frustration at COVID, but that our country also faces
many other challenges – a cost of living crisis, increasing benefit
dependency, house prices through the roof, and the sense that it is
harder than ever to get ahead.
The Prime Minister talks
about the team of five million, but actually she leads the most
divisive Government in recent memory.
Renters versus
landlords. Business owners versus workers. Farmers versus cities.
Kiwis at home versus those stuck abroad. The vaccinated versus the
unvaccinated.
Kiwis don’t want more platitudes from the
podium. They want leadership and a clear plan of what the future looks
like.
There is a real momentum for positive change in
New Zealand, and National under the leadership of Christopher Luxon
will be that change.
I encourage you to watch
and read
Christopher's speech.
Kind regards
Nicola
