Hello John!
According to humans, today is "National Love Your Pet Day." To which I ask: shouldn't every day be a day to love your pet? Marie and her family (and her campaign team) show me all the love in the world each and every day, and that's why I'm doing all I can to re-elect her -- serving (unofficially, but we all know I do important work) as Deputy Campaign Manager.
(remember to always snack when you're on the campaign trail!)
Recently, canvasses for Marie's campaign started. Which means a lot of great walks for me!
But even as I'm having fun, I know the stakes are big. Marie cares about her constituents as much as she cares about me. She wants to ensure that they can pay for their homes and food if they get sick, that they can breathe clean air, and that they have easy access to all the great places and things around them.
If we lose her voice in Congress, the people Marie serves will lose a powerful advocate. And when so much needs to change for the better, we need people like Marie fighting for what's right!
We're meeting so many voters and having so many important conversations, but we have to do a lot more these next four months to help Marie win. And that takes resources. So on this day when pets are shown love, I'm showing my love for Marie, and asking you to chip in a few dollars to her re-election campaign. Please give $5, $25, $50, or whatever you can!
Thank you!
Iggy
