I’m Ronnie Right Whale, an Atlantic Right Whale who just migrated up to Cape Cod Bay for the next few months. It’s quiet out here on the Cape this time of year, so I have some time to reach out and ask for your help. Today is World Whale Day and in honor of that my friends (Penny Pilot Whale and Milo Minke Whale) and I are raising money for the Sierra Club.
Whale populations have been threatened by things like commercial whaling, habitat degradation, pollution, and climate change. Efforts continue at Sierra Club and across other advocacy and conservation groups to reduce commercial whaling and protect whale habitats so that our population can be restored. Will you help by making a donation today?
Your generous donation will support the Sierra Club's work, including its conservation efforts to protect the humpback whale in Point Reyes National Seashore in California (my buddies on the other coast) and other magnificent wild places, so we can be enjoyed for generations to come.
Thanks for all you do,
Ronnie Right Whale
