ENDORSEMENT: Staten Island Secession

In the spirit of self-determination as espoused in the Declaration of Independence, the New York Young Republicans would like to announce our support for Staten Island’s secession from New York City.
After a long chain of abuses and usurpations from a leftist New York City government, it is not only their right, but also their duty to secede in order to have better representation and governance for the people of Staten Island.
The New York Young Republicans will be happy to work with Staten Islanders to achieve this goal.
