Biden has the power to provide economic relief to more than 45 million
people. And he has the power to take the single action that could help
Democrats fend off right-wingers from taking control of Congress in 2022
and the White House in 2024.

Canceling student loan debt is not just economic relief, it’s economic
justice.

It’s not just the right thing to do, it’s the politically smart thing to
do.

And with Democrats failing to pass critical health care, climate change,
paid leave, racial justice, and worker rights legislation, Biden and
Democrats should be able to see that canceling student debt is the thing
they can actually accomplish before midterm elections in November.
