Hi there,

I’m Congresswoman Grace Meng and I serve NY-06 in the House of Representatives. I’m extremely proud to be the first Asian American representative for my state in Congress, and it’s my deep honor to be the chair of ASPIRE PAC: the Asian Americans & Pacific Islanders Rising & Empowering Political Action Committee.

During my six years serving in Washington, I’ve experienced firsthand the lack of diversity in our country’s political sphere -- and I’ve also seen the disastrous policies that can result from excluding people of different backgrounds from the legislative process. That’s why, at ASPIRE, we’re committed to increasing the number of diverse members in our government and amplifying their voices.

We’re always looking for feedback about what diversity means to voters, so we’ve put together a survey with a few questions about the current makeup of Congress. If you have a few minutes to spare, I’d really appreciate it if you’d participate here: [link removed]

Thanks for reading along, and look out for more updates soon!

-Grace
