I'd prefer not to send you emails asking for money. My focus continues to be fighting for families like yours.

However, my finance team is telling me we're in a bit of a sticky spot. We have a significant gap in our fundraising, and we need to raise $9,750 by midnight tonight. That's bad under normal circumstances, but with the GOP spending more against me than any other Senate Democrat in the country, it is the absolute worst time for our numbers to lag.

As I said, asking for money is one of my least favorite things to do, but Mitch McConnell and Republicans across the country have spent over $7 million to unseat me. And if I miss this goal, it will invite even more dark money in New Hampshire. In a purple state like New Hampshire, that could be the difference between winning or losing.

That's why I need your help to get us out of this rut, team. Will you please split a donation between my campaign and Debbie Stabenow? What you give right now will help close our fundraising gap and protect this seat – and the Senate majority.

My Senate race was the closest one on the map in 2016. The only way we'll win in November is if we have the resources we need to reach every voter and push back against the GOP's misleading attack ads.
