john,

Last week, the Arizona Senate passed a law to ban abortions after 15 weeks.

This adds to the steady drumbeat of anti-abortion laws passed in GOP-led states with the ultimate goal of overturning Roe v. Wade. It’s shameful, and if it is signed into law, it will have deadly consequences for women across Arizona.

Most importantly, it underscores how crucial it is to protect and expand our Senate majority so that Mitch McConnell and the GOP can’t get in the way of the Women’s Health Protection Act — which would codify Roe into federal law and safeguard reproductive rights for all.

Donald Trump and the GOP are raising hundreds of millions of dollars to take back the House and Senate this year — and if they’re successful — cruel laws like the one passed in the Arizona Senate last week will be left unchecked.

As the only Senator in the country to have worked at Planned Parenthood, I know the importance of fighting for reproductive justice. And I know that this fight can only be won with grassroots support, so I’m asking for your help.

Can I count on you to pitch in $5 — or whatever you can afford — to help us hold and expand our Senate majority so we can finally safeguard our reproductive rights? The stakes in this fight are real, so we need to act now. [[link removed]]

Thank you so much for your support — this issue is near and dear to my heart, and I won’t give up the fight for reproductive rights.
