Friend: 81 million Americans – an overwhelming majority of voters– voted for President Biden's Democratic agenda in the 2020 election.

They voted for expanding Medicare and Medicaid for those who really need it. For action to tackle climate change and create good-paying jobs. For better protections for voting rights, lower prescription drug prices, broader access to affordable housing and so much more.

But right now, in a 50-50 Senate, just one senator has the power to block any and all of this progress. It shouldn't be this way – and it doesn't have to be.
