Black History Month commemorations are empty sentiments without following through with direct action. That's why Barbara is elevating legislation to pursue restorative justice and reparations.

H.R. 40 would establish a Commission on Truth, Racial Healing, and Transformation. In order to collectively heal from historic injustices and build a more equitable future, we can’t wait any longer for restorative justice.
