Friend,
We hope
this update finds you well.? The issue that dominated the campaign
trail this past week was parents' rights in light of the actions by
JCAR and an Illinois appellate court to strike blows against JB
Pritzker's student mask mandate. ??
Our message
on parents' rights continues to resonate.? Other candidates are now
talking about this issue (that's a good thing), but it is our campaign
has the best record and credibility on this key issue!
You can
watch my reaction to JB Pritzker's JCAR loss here.?
You can listen to a
radio interview where Carolyn discusses her background and vision for
the state of Illinois here.???
Volunteer of
the Week
Our volunteer to
highlight this week is Stan Hunter. Stan recently organized a visit
for Carolyn to Union County in deep Southern Illinois, where he is the
GOP County Chair. Stan has known Paul (who was his state senator)
since 2016. Thank you, Stan, for your volunteer efforts and--more
importantly--your friendship!
Since we
both come from middle class backgrounds, writing $250K checks to our
campaign to fund hired-gun political operatives is not an option for
us.? Instead, we rely on volunteers like you.

Social Media
Spotlight
Our social media
post with the most traffic this week was our response to JCAR's
suspension of JB Pritzker's mask mandate for Illinois
students.?
JCAR stands for
Joint Committee on Administrative Rules.? Illinoisans are beginning to
realize just how important JCAR is after the committee suspended JB
Pritzker's student mask mandate.? I am the ONLY candidate running for
Illinois Governor that has experience serving on JCAR.? I have the
willingness and the expertise to rein in our administrative agencies
and put a stop to government overreach.
