Double Your Impact Today on Give to the Max Day!
Friend,
As an explorer, I know that the challenge of having a big goal or reaching a distant destination or peak can seem overwhelming, even impossible. But if you take it one step at a time, 100 million steps later, you’re across Antarctica… for example.
Permanent protection of the Boundary Waters watershed from sulfide-ore copper mining is our destination. Despite setbacks that may challenge us, like an unanticipated rainstorm or an uncleared trail, we all need to keep paddling, keep portaging, until we get there.
We need you on our team. Will you help us reach our destination by contributing to the Campaign to Save the Boundary Waters today?
Growing up in Minnesota, my first expeditions took place on the lakes and rivers of the Boundary Waters and amongst the trees of the Superior National Forest during my time at YMCA Camp Widjiwagan. With these landscapes as my introduction to the outdoors, it’s no wonder exploring became one of my professional ambitions.
I am also dedicated to ensuring that others get the same opportunities to explore and learn from these incredible landscapes. Let's protect the Boundary Waters so that everyone has the chance to experience it. Make a gift today, on Give to the Max Day, and your donation will be doubled, dollar for dollar. Thank you for your support.
Keep exploring,
Ann Bancroft

P.S. Power Hour is happening now! The three organizations that raise the most money from 10:00 a.m. to 10:59 a.m. will win special $6,000 Power Hour prizes - which just means that much more could go to help permanently protect the Boundary Waters Canoe Area.
