Team Lankford has several updates on what James is up to, what's to come, and how the team is fighting the right way to protect our Oklahoma conservative values. We need to take back the Senate to be the check on Biden's progressive policies.
The National Border Patrol Council officially endorsed James's re-election for the Senate this week. NBPC President Brandon Judd said “James has stood firm in support of border security, which directly impacts both the national and economic security of this great nation. We know he will continue to stand firm. He is a true friend of the National Border Patrol Council and our mission.”
We are grateful to all who joined this week's prayer call with James and Cindy--we hope you'll join us for the next call on February 28 to lift up our state and our nation in prayer.
Sen. James Lankford (R-Okla.), along with Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) and their colleagues, sent a letter to notify senators that they will not grant consent to expedite passage of a Continuing Resolution to fund the government without a roll call vote on an amendment to defund the enforcement of the Biden vaccine mandates. Lankford received support for sending the letter from Americans for Limited Government, which can be viewed HERE.
James defends parents' rights, pushes school choice
Focus on the Family President Jim Daly interviewed Senator James Lankford regarding his proposed Senate Resolution 493, which promotes parental rights in education, opposes the teaching of “critical race theory” (CRT), and supports empowering parents with school choice.
Eight Senate Republicans have penned a letter asking the Department of Justice not to put unruly passengers on a no-fly list, saying it "would seemingly equate them to terrorists."
James fully supports airlines' right to remove and ban unruly passengers on flights, but he disagrees that Delta should impose their company rules on other airlines and take away American's due process rights.
After a week of fighting for our Oklahoma values in DC, James traveled to Norman & Chickasha on Friday. Next week, James will visit Bartlesville, Sapulpa, and Broken Arrow. Follow James @jameslankford on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Gettr to get the latest news on events around the state.
#TeamLankford had a great time seeing so many Oklahomans at the Affair of the Heart last week!
Want to Join Team Lankford?
We're always looking for more Oklahomans to join #TeamLankford. We need volunteers to display yards signs and bumper stickers, volunteer at campaign events, make phone calls, knock doors, and much more.
