If the impeachment circus or presidential primary are getting you down (and how could they not?), I've got a few suggestions for races that might actually give you hope today. With the 2019 elections behind us, Run for Something is focused now on recruiting candidates who can flip state legislatures -- so that we can get more people health care, protect our right to choose, expand voting access, combat climate change, have a fair redistricting process, and more.

Or, if you prefer your good feelings to be more local, we're also working on municipal elections, especially in red/battleground states, where local candidates can increase turnout in underrepresented communities. Oh, and school board candidates who are fighting to make education better ASAP -- without being subject to Congressional gridlock.

Today, instead of tweeting about how frustrated you are, invest in a better future for our country.
