Hi there — I wanted to check in and hear your top priorities for Congress this month and ensure that I’m fighting for the issues that matter the most to you.
Can you spare a minute (or two) to fill out my February priorities survey? Any input you’re willing to share is incredibly helpful to me.
These days there’s almost too much news to follow. Over the past month, Democrats fought for voting rights, Kevin McCarthy threatened to strip me of my committee assignments, and Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer announced his retirement.
I know it’s hard to keep up when the news cycle is changing day to day, hour to hour. So I also wanted to take a second and fill you in on some of the things I’m working on lately.
Last month, I focused on my efforts on passage of crucial legislative reforms like the COMPETES Act, which addresses critical supply chain problems in semi-conductors, invests in science, and helps America bring more manufacturing back home.
I also worked on preventing a potential government shutdown, calling on my Senate colleagues to confirm President Biden’s Supreme Court nominee, and helping new and incumbent Democrats win this November.
With all of that in mind, can you take a second to share your priorities with me? Your feedback is critically important because I want to ensure I’m fighting for the issues most important to you.
Thank you for being a part of my team — whether it’s simply opening this email or filling out my February priorities survey — I’m thankful for everything you do.
