Friend, Republicans are waging an all-out war against one of our most fundamental rights as Americans: our right to vote. 

While House Democrats are committed to defending our democracy, GOP extremists are bearing down on the lie that the 2020 election was stolen – and they're using this conspiracy theory to fuel the 440+ voter-restriction bills introduced in 49 states across the nation. 

Many have suggested that making Election Day a federal holiday would help solve this issue, so ALL Americans, regardless of employment or income status, would be able to make it to the polls come November. (It's not a groundbreaking idea; it's how they do it in Australia, for example). 

But we want to take the temperature on this idea among top Democrats like you. Please, with the 2022 midterms rapidly approaching, help us get 10,000 responses before our official poll shuts down at midnight tonight:
