*Governor Parson's Schedule for February 22 - 25**, 2022*
*(JEFFERSON CITY, MO)* ? Next week, Governor Mike Parson will?participate in meetings at the State Capitol and attend various meetings and events across the state, including a roundtable discussion in St. Louis?to share his proposed investments in workforce and higher education and hear from local education, business, and community leaders.
On *Tuesday*, *February 22*, Governor Parson will participate in a ribbon cutting event for the Deli Star Corporation in St. Louis and attend the Missouri Times Statesman of the Year event honoring Senator Roy Blunt.?
On *Wednesday*,* February 23*, Governor Parson will drive a John Deere tractor to the State Capitol in honor of the FFA tradition of students across Missouri driving their tractors to school during National FFA Week. Following the tractor parade, Governor Parson will present a proclamation to Missouri FFA students proclaiming February 19-26, 2022, as National FFA Week in Missouri.?
Governor Parson will then speak at the Missouri Farm Bureau 2022 Legislative Briefing and join leaders from the Missouri National Guard and Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development for the announcement of a new registered apprenticeship program.
On *Thursday*, *February 24*, Governor Parson will travel to St. Louis to participate in a ribbon cutting event for StereoTaxis and hold a workforce and higher education roundtable with local leaders and representatives from St. Louis Community College, St. Charles Community College, the University of Missouri?St. Louis, Harris?Stowe State University, and?Jefferson College.?
Governor Parson will also visit Wydown Middle School and North Kirkwood Middle School to present proclamations celebrating their designations as 2021 National Blue Ribbon and Missouri Gold Star Schools. Governor Parson will also meet with interfaith leaders in the St. Louis area to discuss their shared priorities and initiatives to move the region forward. He?will end the day by attending the kick-off reception for the St. Louis Inaugural NASCAR Cup Series Race
