Keeping Paul LePage’s hateful politics out of Maine doesn’t mean just the Blaine House. Every race, every election, and every day counts in the fight to stop the Maine GOP from rolling back the progress we’ve made rebuilding our state’s economy and expanding healthcare access.

The Maine GOP and Paul LePage will try and brand their far-right candidates as “moderates”. What they LePage just endorsed Republican Brian Langley in the Maine Senate Hancock County special election. When he ran in 2020, LePage supported Langley’s far right opponent. Langley might claim to be a moderate, but the facts are clear: he’s radical enough to earn a LePage endorsement.

Our Evergreen Project supports organizers who are talking to voters in every corner of the state, just like Hancock County. This race is a big test, and I’m counting on people like you to help us get out the vote. Can you pitch in $5, $10, $20.22, $25, $50 or whatever you are able?

We need to do everything we can to protect our communities from the spread of LePage’s radical right agenda for the Maine GOP. Langley is just one of many LePage loyalists, putting party before people when constituents counted on him the most.

As a legislator, Langley has voted AGAINST Medicaid expansion, raising the minimum wage, and expanding reproductive health care coverage. This is not the kind of leader we need in the Maine Senate.

It’s scary watching LePage’s hateful politics pull Maine Republicans even further to the right, but there’s one thing you can do right now to help.
