Yesterday, I vetoed another batch of bad bills sent to me by the Democrats in the New Hampshire Legislature - bringing the total number of bills I've had to veto this session to 24. That's an all-time record.
I'm not out to set a record, but the Democrats have passed so many bad bills that I've been left with no choice.
In just a year of the Democrats holding a majority in the House and Senate, I've been forced to veto everything from a budget that would have raised taxes by 12.5%, to an income tax, to restrictions on first amendment rights.
The Democrats' agenda is clear: raise taxes and infringe upon personal freedoms. I won't let that stand.
I'm doing everything I can to hold off the Democrats' radical policies that are straight out of the Washington playbook. But I need your help.
