On Day One, President Biden's administration launched a war on made in America and made in Montana energy. It took them only six hours to kill the Keystone XL pipeline, along with thousands of good-paying jobs and tax revenue that came with it.
President Biden's administration later gave the green light to Putin’s pipeline, Nord Stream 2. They weakened America and empowered our adversaries.
Now, Montanans are paying the price. Prices at the pump are up 40% and it’s costing us 50% more just to heat our homes this winter. This is the cost of an anti-American energy administration and it’s time they are honest with the American people.
This week, I sent a letter to President Biden's administration demanding answers about the effects of their war on made in Montana energy.
Back in May, I toured communities in eastern Montana impacted by the cancellation of the Keystone XL pipeline project. I suggest folks from President Biden's administration do the same to see the widespread effects of their anti-energy policies.
As your voice in the United States Senate, I will continue fighting to hold President Biden's administration accountable.
