This is why the courts are so important!

Friend,

Governor Pritzker is losing the battle over his mask mandate in the courts
(and in the court of public opinion),so he just took an extraordinary measure.

He just requested an expedited review from the Illinois Supreme Court,
counting on his allies on the court to save him where the law simply won't!

Of course, he's trying to get away with it late on a Friday afternoon.

But the impact is going to be felt long after today.

* This is going to impact how much power the state has under "emergency
rulemaking," and how easy it is to abuse that power.
* This is going to impact schools' ability to stay open and in-person.
* This is going to impact the mask mandate on young children.
This is exactly why we founded Judicial Fairness Project
<[link removed]>
– to serve as a government watchdog over Illinois’ judicial system.

The decisions that happen on the courts, and the way our judges are put in key
positions of power, make an immense difference in Illinois!

Pritzker, his allies in the courts, and the Chicago machine that pulls the
strings have too much power in Illinois.

Together, we can ensure that Illinois gets the judicial system we deserve, and
hold them accountable when they fail!

Thank you,

Nick Klitzing
