According to a study that came out this week, the Southwest is experiencing the driest period in 1,200 years. That's an unbelievable number.

I've been fighting to secure a drought-safe water supply for Arizona since I became Mayor of Phoenix. In Congress, I've brought home millions of dollars to invest in our water infrastructure and support strategic planning. But a problem this big requires long-term investment and attention.

One of my top priorities is protecting Arizona's water supply. But I need to win reelection if I'm going to keep up this fight.
