Folks, I know what many of you are thinking—why is Tim emailing me at 5 p.m. on a Friday? I was just getting ready to finally unplug for the weekend…

If that’s you—great! I know you deserve it. Before you sign off, let’s all take a moment to thank the labor movement for making this possible.

But we also know that for too many Americans, clocking out from one job means clocking in for the next. People are working harder than ever before, missing birthdays and weekends just to scrape by.

Our economy is broken, and that’s why I’m fighting so hard to tip the balance of power back to working people. But to do that, we have to stop Mitch McConnell from retaking the Senate.

If you’re with me, will you chip in $25 to help us win the race that will decide Senate control? We can’t let McConnell and his GOP cronies take back the Senate just so they can pass even more tax breaks for the rich at the expense of hardworking Ohioans.

I know from my own family that workers are better off when they’re able to collectively bargain for fair wages and better working conditions.

The 40-hour week, workplace safety, the end of child labor, and more—all because strong unions fought to protect and expand workers’ rights, and because Congress listened to working people and passed legislation to turn those protections into law. We need to do it again.

Unfortunately, my millionaire GOP opponents disagree—and have the full support of billionaire-funded super PACs and dark-money mega-donors.

We have to win this Senate seat to expand our Democratic majority and give Ohio the most pro-worker delegation in the Senate and make real change for our working families. So, before you unplug for the weekend, will you make a grassroots donation of $25 right now to flip Ohio blue and continue the fight to protect working families?
