John, we just got some alarming news, and I wanted you to hear it from me first: National Journal just named me the most vulnerable senator in America!
But unfortunately, that's not the only thing I'm worried about:
1. GOP outside groups have dangerously outspent my campaign – spending more than $4 MILLION on attack ads to flip this seat and the Senate.
2. Multiple polls show me trailing my opponent, a far-right extremist handpicked by Mitch McConnell and endorsed by Donald Trump.
3. Missing tonight's midnight fundraising goal could cost us this race – and if we lose here, Democrats will lose our razor-thin Senate majority.
But as of 2 p.m., I'm falling dangerously short of my midnight goal – and I cannot make up the gap without your grassroots support.
Please, John, Mitch McConnell, Donald Trump and the entire GOP are all in to defeat me, and I've got nowhere else to turn. Can I count on you, John?
