In just a moment, I'm going to ask you to make a $3 contribution to our campaign to stop Kevin McCarthy from becoming Speaker of the House. Things have changed significantly in my race, so I hope you'll give me a chance to explain why this request is so crucial.

Last week, we got word that another one of our primary opponents dropped out of the race. Soon after, we earned 100% of the vote from local Democratic delegates to be pre-endorsed by the California Democratic Party. This is a huge momentum boost, and it's a clear sign that Democrats are consolidating behind my campaign.

Folks on the ground in the Central Valley no longer believe the lie that McCarthy is untouchable, and we're ready to hold him accountable. But I know this is not something I can take on alone.
