Meow John,
If you're not fur-miliar with me by now, I'm the most important member of the Kelly family: Frances Kelly, First Cat of Kansas. I like to spend my days roaming in the trails near Cedar Crest and of course snuggling with the best mom (and governor) out there.
But to be purr-fectly honest, my favorite way to spend my days is by helping my mom do her job (you know, so she has more free time to give me snuggles and treats.) Between catching catnaps and making sure Cedar Crest is safe from any mouse-like intruders, I've noticed my mom and her team are a little stressed about fundraising this month (something about this month having fewer days than the other ones, I guess.)
In case you fur-got, my mom's race is shaping up to be the most competitive governor's race in the whole country. I want to help my mom win in November and I know you do too. So we need to put our best paws forward and help my mom win.
I overheard my mom's team talking about how they need to raise a certain amount of money a day to hit their February fundraising goal, so I'm reaching out to her best supporters. Chip in $5 or more today to help my mom and her team hit their $2,400 24-hour goal.

I'd really appreciate your help on this one, John -- I'd donate if I could, but well, I'm a cat and my mom doesn't count my love as a donation.
Meow for now,
Frances
