64% of total United States overdose deaths are from fentanyl-related substances. We must take action.

That is why I held a roundtable with law enforcement officials in Southeast Wisconsin to hear firsthand how it is impacting our communities.

Fentanyl is being produced in China, shipped to Mexico, and then being trafficked across our southern border by drug cartels. Last fiscal year, 11,201 pounds of fentanyl were seized by Border Patrol. That is enough to kill every American 7 times.

The Biden Administration’s failure to secure our border is destroying our communities. We must end the lawlessness at the border and give our border officials the resources they need to do their jobs.

We must secure our border, we must stop this poison from entering our country, and we must fund our law enforcement officers to keep our communities safe.
