MEDIA ADVISORY:
CTGOP Launches Ad Detailing Governor Ned Lamont's Non-Existent Crime Surge Solution
On Friday, February 18, 2022, the Connecticut Republican Party launched an ad which details Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont's non-response to surging crime and lawlessness in Connecticut. These statewide increases in crime are directly connected to his signing of the "Police Accountability Bill" which was crafted and passed by Connecticut Democrats.

"The message is simple," said Connecticut Republican Party Chairman Ben Proto, "Lamont and Connecticut Democrats created a crime crisis with their anti-police, pro-criminal policies and they are choosing to do nothing that will solve the problem. Our lives and property are in danger. Only Republican leadership can make Connecticut safe again."
