Hey John,

Right now, higher education students and graduates are struggling. They’re being saddled with enormous amounts of debt — just to get an education and build their careers.

Too many powerful corporations out there are scamming students — forcing them into a lifetime of debt with predatory student loans with misleading tactics and unfair rates.

I'm sick and tired of seeing big corporations put profits over people — which is why as Attorney General, I’m standing up for Pennsylvanians and putting them first. And I’ll keep that up as your Governor.

To hold powerful corporations accountable and look out for student borrowers in Pennsylvania, we need to win this Governor’s race. John, can I count on you to chip in a few bucks to my campaign? [[link removed]]

As the People’s Attorney General, I’ve held student loan companies accountable for their predatory practices that were screwing over students, parents, and loan holders to the tune of millions of dollars.

These scams unfairly cost student borrowers a lot of money — and I’ve taken these companies to court to hold them accountable. Because of our work, we’ve won millions of dollars in debt relief for Pennsylvania borrowers.

Every Pennsylvanian deserves access to a quality and affordable education — without fear of predatory lenders or overwhelming debt. We’ll continue fighting to hold corporations who are taking advantage of borrowers accountable.

So please, John, will you support my campaign for Governor today? It’s going to take all of us to win, so we can keep holding big corporations accountable. [[link removed]]
Thank you,

Josh Shapiro
