** Deadline is MONDAY, Feb. 21 to Run in the 2022 GLASS Steering Committee Election!

The Deadline is coming soon for positions on the 2022 GLASS Steering Committee, and we would love for you to run!

GLASS benefits from new and diverse ideas. Visibility is important, and we encourage all to run. These elections are usually the furthest thing from competitive. If you are even thinking about running and have ene contributing to GLASS, just do it already!

Important Dates:

February 21, COB: Candidate Declaration Statement Due

February 22 to 25: Election Period (more details to come)

Nota bene: You must be a current U.S. Senate employee and have paid your 2022 Calendar Year Dues to vote and run for the GLASS Caucus Steering Committee.

What you need to do:

1) Submit your name, Senate employment office, and a brief paragraph explaining why you’d like to serve on the Steering Committee and what you would like to accomplish. Please submit your Candidate Declaration Statement here. ([link removed])

2) If you haven’t already, pay your 2022 dues ($20) through Venmo (@GLASS-Caucus) or Paypal. (Email our Treasurer Brian Kaplun if you are unsure on the status of your dues.)


** THURSDAY, FEB. 24: GLASS “New Year” Happy Hour!

Come join us on Thursday, February 24 at Lost & Found to meet new people and old friends, eat *free* pizza, and drink until your heart is content!

WHERE: Lost & Found, 1240 9th St. NW, Washington, D.C., 20001

WHEN: Thursday, February 24, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

This happy hour is a special one because it's the last one before the GLASS Board election week ends. Take this time to meet our current board members and prospective new leaders of the GLASS Caucus.

Since we are still in a global pandemic and the event will be indoors, we request that all participants be able to show proof of full vaccination.
