Let this sink in, friend:
Every single Republican president since 1988 was first elected WITHOUT winning the national popular vote.
That's right, friend. Thanks to the Electoral College, one person doesn't equal one vote in the United States – and that's just the way the GOP likes it.
For too long, Republicans have relied on this arcane, outdated and illogical institution to tip the scales in their favor – despite not having Americans' popular support.
The GOP is committed to keeping the Electoral College – and if they take back the House and the Senate this year, they're going to pass more laws in an attempt to keep themselves in power for good. (That's on top of the 440+ "Jim Crow 2.0" bills they've already introduced.)
This isn't a glitch in the system; this is just how the GOP likes it. But with hours to go until our official poll closes, we need responses from 5,000 of our top supporters:
SHOULD WE ABOLISH THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE?
