I wanted to reach out and introduce myself. My name is Jeanne, and I’m the campaign manager for Attorney General Keith Ellison’s re-election campaign.

I’ve spent the past nine years working to elect progressive leaders in tough races across the country, including Keith’s first campaign for Attorney General in 2018.

I’m honored to rejoin the team as we get ready to take on what will be one of the most-watched Attorney General races of the year. 

I’ll be blunt: We have a tough fight ahead of us. Republicans believe that this November is their best chance to flip Minnesota red in decades. And since Keith had the closest statewide race in Minnesota the first time around, we’re starting with zero room for error.

It’s going to take an unprecedented grassroots movement to re-elect Keith and keep the Minnesota Attorney General’s office from falling into the hands of the GOP, which is why I’m asking up front:

Will you chip in $10, $25, $50 (or whatever works for you today) to prove that we’re ready to win as we start the next phase of our campaign? I’m hoping to raise $10,000 by the end of the weekend.

Growing up in the district Keith represented in Congress, Keith was the first elected official who showed me what it looks like to truly put people at the center of politics – and what it means to ground a campaign in genuine human connection and community.

I was at Keith’s first victory party in 2006. When the results came in, I remember looking around the room and seeing on everyone’s faces – no matter who they were or what they looked like – that they knew this victory belonged to all of us.

Everybody Counts, Everybody Matters. That’s been Keith’s motto from day one. But more importantly, it’s a promise he delivers on every day.

Keith has stood up for us time and time again. And now he needs our help. If you can, please make a contribution that works for you so we can continue working together to help everyone afford their lives and live with dignity, safety, and respect.
