John,
This week, Governor Pete Ricketts started community “Water & Taxes” town halls across Nebraska. At these events, Gov. Ricketts will discuss his legislative priorities to protect and develop the state’s water resources and to deliver much-needed tax relief to Nebraskans.
A dramatic reduction in the amount of South Platte River water flowing from Colorado would place an enormous strain on agriculture here in Nebraska, it would also jeopardize the drinking water supplies of the Platte River communities. In addition to highlighting the need for urgent action to secure our water, the Governor will share his plans to protect crucial property tax relief and cut income taxes for hardworking Nebraskans across the state.
We hope you join the Governor and other GOP leaders TOMORROW in Kearny, Norfolk and Nebraska City to learn more about this year's key legislative priorities.
