Friend,

I promised you when I first ran for Attorney General that I would be the People’s Lawyer – meeting people where they are and working to make a difference. I was always clear that I wouldn’t be afraid to take on tough problems or powerful interests to stand up for you.

That’s exactly what we’ve done. And it’s what we’ll continue to do.

If you want a Governor who will bring people together and won’t back down from a challenge to do what’s right, will you make a contribution to our campaign today? [[link removed]]

We took on Purdue Pharma and the Sacklers on behalf of families devastated by the opioid crisis. We stood up to ExxonMobil for lying about climate change and what their products were doing to our communities. We recovered hundreds of millions of dollars from predatory lenders who exploited student borrowers and homeowners. We expanded access to reproductive health care in Massachusetts and challenged attacks nationwide. And we put an equity lens on everything we do.

Most of all, we made the Attorney General’s Office work for YOU. We’ve centered our work around people – protecting workers, tenants, immigrants, and consumers.
I’m not going to change this formula as Governor.

We’re already starting this work. Our campaign is out in every community, listening, and collaborating – just as I’ve done as Attorney General. When we come together, we can do big things for Massachusetts. If you’re on board with that, please consider making a donation to support our work. [[link removed]]

Thanks for all you do,

Maura
