John,

Nobody deserves to be a victim of senseless abuse and violence, that's why the Violence Against Women Act is so important to our country. Yet in 2019, this critical piece of legislation expired when the Senate failed to reauthorize it.

It's time for the Senate to finally take a stand against domestic violence and swiftly pass the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act. Add your name right next to mine to call on the Senate to take action >>

We've seen an alarming rise in domestic and dating violence as the pandemic has unfolded. Now more than ever, the programs supported by the Violence Against Women Act are essential and needed to provide safety, resources, and protection to survivors.

We can't let party lines divide us in the fight for justice and compassion like they did in 2019 when the Senate failed to reauthorize the bill. Now that a bipartisan agreement has been reached, it's time for the Senate to move this bill forward and into the desk of President Biden.

Today, I am calling on the Senate to do their duty to Americans everywhere and pass the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act. If you agree with me, sign this petition.

Thank you,

Diana
