MARCH ON is dedicated to increasing voter turnout and driving Democrats to the polls. Our data-driven solutions helped defeat Donald Trump in in 2020. Now, we're gearing up to hold the House and Senate in 2022 to advance our progressive agenda.

Dear friend,

Every week of Black History Month, we’ll be profiling a different Black woman in politics who inspires us to make progressive change!

This week, we’re celebrating Representative Val Demings of Florida.

Representative Demings has served in the House of Representatives since 2016, when she flipped her home district from red to blue.

In Congress, Demings led the first impeachment case against Donald Trump, making a name for herself as a strong Democratic lawmaker. She has worked in Congress to end gun violence, secure equal pay for women, and protect abortion access.

Now, Demings is running for Senate – to kick Marco Rubio out and bring Democratic leadership to Florida! If Demings wins, she would bring a necessary voice to the table, as there are currently no Black women serving in the U.S. Senate.

Representative Demings will always work to empower women and lead with equity – and that’s why we can’t wait to see Demings win her election this November!

If you admire Representative Demings as much as we do, sign up to volunteer for her Senate campaign to flip Florida blue in 2022!

Thank you for celebrating Black History Month with us!
