As my team and I reviewed public campaign finance reports from 2021, we noticed something interesting: in the last year, my far-right opponent spent $40,000 per month of her own money on her campaign.

I don’t have that kind of cash to pour into my campaign — I depend on grassroots supporters like you, team. Can you spare $5 or more today so that we have the resources to match my Republican opponent’s self-funded campaign?

This kind of spending from my opponent is no surprise — you might remember that in our 2020 race, she poured $2.5 million of her own money into her campaign, and in the 2022 race so far, she's given herself nearly a million dollars. But it shows that she is ready to spend big again this time around in her attempt to get me out of office and flip this seat red. In 2020, I won against her in one of the closest House races in the country, and Democratic experts are forecasting an even closer match this year.

If I’m going to defeat my extremist opponent and her deep pockets again, I need serious grassroots support. Can I count on you to contribute to our people-powered campaign today?
