There’s a powerful movement brewing right now, John. Workers in 97 Starbucks stores in 27 states have filed petitions to unionize — and the momentum behind this unionization wave is only growing.
Quarterly profits have jumped 31% to $816 million at the expense of workers who have experienced unsafe working conditions, understaffing, and wages that do not match Starbucks profits.
Starbucks is fighting this worker-led movement tooth and nail, rescinding benefits and cutting hours in petitioned stores, and directly targeting organizers. We need to ramp up the public pressure to call out their union-busting tactics.
Will you join in solidarity with Starbucks workers and send a message to Starbucks leadership and CEO Kevin Johnson, demanding they cease all union-busting tactics in response to union petitions?

Since Starbucks workers began unionizing, the company has cut employee hours and gone as far as completely closing entire stores. In Memphis, Starbucks workers filed for a union election on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day — and just three weeks later, seven members of the organizing committee were fired.
All workers have the right to organize for safe working conditions, fair wages, and workplace protections. If you agree, take a moment to send a message directly to Starbucks CEO Kevin Johnson demanding the company stop all union-busting tactics.
