The Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court recently ruled that our state's current system of mail-in voting is unconstitutional.
The case was decided by a 3-2 vote, with three Republicans casting the deciding votes, and now heads to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.

It's simple: Republicans know they can't win when everyone votes fair and square, so they're trying to rig the system in their favor. It's no coincidence that this bipartisan election law which made voting accessible for millions of Pennsylvanians during a deadly pandemic and helped bring out a record turnout for Democrats is now being attacked.
It's the same pattern we've seen happening across the country, with far-right governors and state legislatures in states like Texas, Georgia, and Florida passing extreme voter suppression laws.
Mail-in voting is essential for a functional, accessible democracy - attacks on mail-in voting are direct attacks on the voting rights of Black, and Brown people, of poor people, and disabled people, who are disproportionately targeted by voter suppression laws.
