They spent the last week twisting themselves in knots trying to avoid answering whether or not the violence on January 6 was “legitimate political discourse." When asked, one of my opponents ignored the question entirely and instead lobbed an attack against me riddled with disinformation.
While my opponents enable January 6 revisionism and spread conspiracies, national Republicans are working behind the scenes to shore up their campaigns. I'm still listed as one of their "top-targets" in 2022, and their largest super PAC is gearing up to spend enormous sums attacking me on the airwaves.
Our efforts to meet voters on their doorsteps, in mailboxes, and on mobile devices is underway. But to fully fund a winning campaign, we need to raise another $20,000 in online donations before the end of the month. Right now, we are falling short. Will you chip in $3 today?

With our new district map complete, one respected prognosticator downgraded our outlook in CA-49 to
"Lean Democrat." That puts us just one rating away from a
"Toss-up." This race will be as competitive as ever.
