Team,

Climate change is the most pressing threat facing our world today, and we can feel the lasting effects right here in Maryland.

Time is running out to save the cultural and economic treasures that make us proud to be Marylanders. From temperatures rising one to two degrees Fahrenheit in the last decade to increased coastal and inland flooding to compounded personal health outcomes from pollution and extreme weather, we’re facing a crisis-level threat.

Thankfully, we have the opportunity to make crucial inroads toward curbing the climate crisis in Maryland and regain our status as a leader in offshore wind. With a robust investment in a green energy workforce, we can create thousands of jobs and become a unionized leader in manufacturing offshore wind turbines – a win-win for workers, businesses, and the environment.

Knowing this, we want your input:

How important is it to you that the next governor of Maryland build a green infrastructure, starting with creating clean energy jobs?
