We recently learned multiple troubling -- and potentially criminal -- things about former President Trump. We learned that Trump lied about his financial statements. His long-time accounting firm has cut ties with the Trump organization and retracted financial statements that they helped to prepare. Depending on what transactions Trump lied about, this could amount to fraud, tax evasion, or a host of other criminal acts. But that wasn't all we learned.

It isn't a surprise that Donald Trump refused to follow the proper presidential procedure when it came to record keeping. We learned he flushed documents down the toilet instead of preserving them. We learned he ate them instead of preserving them. And now we've also learned that he took Top Secret, classified documents out of the White House and to Mar-a-Lago. This made him a massive national security liability -- and a liability to our country.

So in case it wasn't clear before this week, Donald Trump is a liar and a liability. And now he's busy plotting his comeback and trying to use his same dirty tricks to lie and cheat his way back into the White House, where he can shred, flush, and eat more classified documents.
