John — When Lauren was elected in 2018, she pledged to be the most accessible, transparent, and accountable member of Congress our district has ever seen. And she’s worked to make good on that promise every day since.

Spending her time at home meeting with folks across the district to talk about the issues that matter most — even in the snow, sleet, and ice. Lowering the price of health insurance through her Health Care Affordability Act. Having not one or two, but eight pieces of legislation enacted into law in just three years.

To say Lauren’s first few years in Congress have been busy would be a severe understatement, but that’s just who she is. From working as a registered nurse to serving in Congress, Lauren has dedicated her career to improving the lives of working families everywhere, and she’s never stood down from a fight just because it’s hard or the cards are stacked against her.

While Lauren’s busy fighting her heart out for the people of Illinois, it’s my job to fight just as hard for her — and trust me, with five right-wing opponents in the race, we’ve got a hell of a fight ahead of us.
